Mobile Blogging

Morning..

This morning I tried to start a mobile blog. Completely experimental. And it turns out that it was not so difficult. Especially when you have already set your email preferences in your mobile devices.

So, in general, i think these are the steps to start a mobile blog:

  1. Make sure your email preferences in your mobile devices are already setup well. The how-tos on doing these stuffs are out of the topic. Sorry.. :p
  2. Create new email with your blog title as subject and your blog post as message’s body.
  3. Send it to go@blogger.com.
  4. Check your inbox, and find email from go@blogger.com which includes your moblog token.
  5. Go to http://go.blogger.com to enter your moblog token and claim your moblog. That is, associate you existing blogger account with your mobile post; or create new account. — Issues: Can’t associate the moblog with beta blogger account yet!! :( (
  6. You’ll be given a blogger url address, but you can modify it in your blog settings. Other settings could also be setup like usual.
  7. Enjoy..

[salah satu] Issue di Blogger Beta??

Terhitung kira-kira 2 minggu lalu, blog ini hijrah ke blogger beta. Dan sejak itu pula, beberapa issue bermunculan, namun yang paling terasa adalah masalah komen-mengkomen.. :(

Pertama, account yang telah hijrah ke blogger beta, tidak dapat menggunakan account bloggernya untuk memberikan comment di blog lain yang belum pindah ke versi beta.

Kedua, vice versa, account yang belum pindah ke blogger beta, tidak dapat menggunakan account bloggernya untuk memberikan comment di blog yang pindah ke versi beta.

Hiks.. I feel somewhat disconnected.. :(

So, untuk yang pengen buat comment di blogger yang beda versinya dengan account yang dia punya, silahkan gunakan saja pilihan identity sebagai “Others”(Gitu kayanya ya mbak Sekar).

Jangan sungkan kasih komen yah.. :)

Kaya kata tim blogger.. “All fixed” :) Jadi, no more commeting issues..
